Sieťový kábel Telegärtner CAT6a 20 m

The Telegärtner CAT6a 20m networking cable is a 20-meter screened S/FTP patch cable terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed Ethernet connections, this cable supports demanding network environments where reduced crosstalk and improved signal integrity are required. The blue jacket provides a clear, professional appearance for structured cabling installations in office, data center, or home network setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair plus an overall foil prevents electromagnetic interference and minimizes alien crosstalk, improving transmission stability at higher frequencies. The CAT6a specification enables reliable performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over the 20 m length while maintaining backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet standards. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and simplified installation without on-site crimping.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and server rooms
• High-bandwidth multimedia and streaming applications
• Structured cabling between patch panels and network switches
• Home networks requiring higher immunity to interference

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6a (Class EA)
• Length: 20 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with overall braid/foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, factory-terminated
• Color: Blue jacket
• Supported speeds: up to 10 Gbps over specified distances
• Frequency range: up to 500 MHz (CAT6a specification)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device or patch panel and the other plug to the corresponding switch, router, or endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and verify link/activity LEDs on connected equipment to confirm a valid connection. For structured cabling, route the cable without sharp bends and maintain recommended bend radius to avoid performance degradation. When installing in racks or conduits, allow appropriate slack and secure the cable to prevent strain at the connector ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid routing the cable in parallel with power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use appropriate cable management and labeling for long runs, and verify network configuration and speed settings on connected devices. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show visible wear.
