Sieťový kábel Telegärtner MP8 FS 500 LSZH-20.0 čierny 20 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Telegärtner MP8 FS 500 LSZH-20.0 Black 20m Cat6a S/FTP is a 20-metre Ethernet cable engineered for reliable, high-speed data transmission in structured networks. Compliant with Cat6a performance, the cable uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The cable is fitted with factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends and features an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket to reduce toxic fumes and corrosive gases in the event of fire, making it suitable for installations where occupant safety and equipment protection are considerations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved signal integrity compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet at the specified distances of Cat6a cabling. The 20 m length offers flexibility for office, server room or AV runs without additional patching. The LSZH outer sheath reduces smoke and halogen emissions in case of combustion, supporting compliance with stricter building and safety requirements. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and reduce installation time compared with field-terminated solutions.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within offices, data cabinets and server rooms
• High-performance workstations, network switches and NAS connections
• AV installations, conference rooms and structured cabling backbones
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cable jackets for safety

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male, factory-terminated
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Color: Black
• Data rate: supports up to 10 Gbps over specified Cat6a distances
• Frequency: suitable for up to 500 MHz operation

How to use

Route the cable between network devices avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference, such as large motors or unshielded power cables. Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports until they click to secure the connection. For best performance, maintain recommended bend radius and avoid kinking the cable; if using in racks or cabinets, use cable management to prevent strain on the connectors. Test the link after installation with a network tester compatible with Cat6a to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, install the cable away from high-voltage power lines and maintain separation from fluorescent lighting or other potential EMI sources. Use shielded RJ-45 ports or grounded patch panels where available to ensure the S/FTP shielding is properly terminated. Regularly inspect connectors and cable jackets for damage and replace if the LSZH sheath is compromised.
