Sieťový kábel Wentronic 61098 10 m Cat8.1 S/FTP čierny

The Wentronic 61098 is a 10 m Cat8.1 networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ45 connectors on both ends. It supports data rates up to 40 GBit/s when used with Cat8.1-capable components, enabling high-speed connections without switching to fibre optics. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines overall foil with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat8.1 specification ensures compatibility with high-performance RJ45 couplers and installation cables, allowing integration into existing copper-based networks while achieving multi-gigabit throughput. The 10 m length provides flexibility for typical desktop and room-to-room cabling.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections in homes and offices
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch links within data centers or network cabinets (short runs)
• Workstations, gaming PCs, and multimedia streaming setups requiring multi-gigabit bandwidth

How to use

Connect each RJ45 plug to the corresponding RJ45 port on network devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards. Ensure connected couplers and patch panels are Cat8.1-capable to reach the specified performance. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair the cable with Cat8.1-rated connectors, couplers and installation cables and keep runs within recommended distances; inspect connectors for secure seating and avoid tight bends or kinks that could degrade throughput.
