Sieťový mediálny konvertor ALLNET ALL-MC302v2P2WIRE set PoE over 2 Wire

ALLNET ALL-MC302v2P2WIRE Set PoE over 2 Wire is a media converter kit that enables Power over Ethernet (PoE) transmission over a two-wire line. The set is designed to extend both network connectivity and power to remote PoE devices where running standard Ethernet cable is impractical. It uses the existing two-wire infrastructure to deliver data and power simultaneously to devices such as IP cameras and access points, simplifying installation and reducing the need for additional cabling.

Advantages

The ALLNET ALL-MC302v2P2WIRE Set reduces installation complexity by using a single two-wire line to carry both data and power, avoiding the requirement to lay full Ethernet cabling to remote locations. This solution supports deployment of PoE devices at sites with limited cable paths or where retrofitting would be costly. The kit is suitable for professional and commercial network extensions and preserves compatibility with standard PoE devices at the far end.

Suitable for

• Extending network and power to remote IP cameras
• Connecting wireless access points in locations without Ethernet cabling
• Deploying PoE devices over existing two-wire infrastructure in buildings
• Retrofit installations where new cable routes are restricted

Key specifications

• Function: Media converter kit for Power over Ethernet over two-wire line
• Connectivity: Transmits data and PoE over a single two-wire cable
• Application: Extends network and power to remote PoE devices such as IP cameras and access points
• Installation: Designed for use with existing two-wire infrastructure to avoid new Ethernet cabling

How to use

Install one unit of the ALLNET ALL-MC302v2P2WIRE Set at the network source, connecting it to the PoE switch or injector and the two-wire line. Install the corresponding unit at the remote device location and connect the two-wire line to that unit, then connect the downstream PoE device to the converter’s Ethernet output. Ensure proper polarity and secure connections on the two-wire line. Power the PoE source and verify link and power delivery to the remote device.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use good-quality two-wire cabling without significant corrosion or damage, keep cable runs within practical distance limits for PoE delivery, and verify compatibility of the powered device with standard PoE requirements. Follow local installation standards and safety regulations when routing and terminating cabling.
