Sieťový mediálny konvertor Exsys USB 3.2 Gen 1 B na 1 Gigabit Ethernet EX-13021HMV so sadou na montáž na lištu

Exsys EX-13021HMV is a compact network media converter that converts a USB 3.2 Gen 1 B connection into a single 1 Gigabit Ethernet port. Delivered with a DIN-rail mounting kit, the device is designed for installation in control cabinets, industrial racks and other enclosed installations where a robust wired network interface is required. It enables systems with a compatible USB host to gain reliable wired network access without modifying internal hardware.

Advantages

The unit provides full Gigabit Ethernet performance over a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, offering low-latency and high-throughput connectivity. Its DIN-rail kit and compact enclosure simplify mounting in industrial and cabinet environments. The external media converter design isolates the USB host from Ethernet cabling and electromagnetic interference typical in industrial settings, improving network reliability. Energy-efficient operation and straightforward plug-and-play connectivity reduce setup time in edge and embedded applications.

Suitable for

• Adding a 1 Gbps wired Ethernet port to industrial PCs, control systems or thin clients via USB
• Mounting inside control cabinets, distribution racks or on DIN rails in automation cabinets
• Edge computing nodes and embedded systems requiring stable wired network connectivity
• Temporary or permanent field installations where internal expansion is impractical

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type B (host-side) to 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet (RJ45)
• Network speed: 1 Gbps full-duplex capable
• Mounting: DIN-rail mounting kit included for TS35/TH35 rails
• Form factor: external compact enclosure suitable for cabinet installation
• Power: USB-powered from host (specify host USB power limits as required)
• Operating environment: suitable for industrial cabinet and rack installations (consult ambient specifications in technical datasheet)

How to use

Connect the EX-13021HMV to a compatible host using a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type B cable and attach an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port. Mount the unit on a DIN rail inside the control cabinet or place it on a shelf using the supplied kit. The device typically operates plug-and-play with standard network drivers provided by the host operating system; ensure the host USB port supports the required power and USB version for full Gigabit throughput. Configure network settings on the host or via the operating system network manager as needed for static addressing or DHCP.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use a USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 Gen 1 host port and shielded Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cabling. Install the converter in a ventilated cabinet area away from strong heat sources and high-voltage equipment. Verify that the host system provides sufficient USB power for the device and keep firmware/drivers up to date according to the host OS vendor guidance.
