Sieťový switch MikroTik CSS606-1G-2Gi-3S+OUT 6-portový switch s 1G a 10G SFP+ uplinkmi

The MikroTik CSS606-1G-2Gi-3S+OUT is a compact 6-port network switch that combines multiple Gigabit Ethernet access ports with high-speed SFP/SFP+ uplinks. Designed for small offices, home labs and edge deployments, the device offers a straightforward aggregation point with both copper and fiber connectivity options. The metal outdoor-capable housing and fanless design provide reliable operation in constrained spaces while keeping noise and maintenance to a minimum.

Advantages

This switch integrates four Gigabit copper ports and two additional Gigabit interfaces plus three SFP+ slots supporting 1G and 10G modules, allowing flexible uplink configurations and easy integration into existing networks. Its compact footprint and efficient power consumption support installation in racks or on a shelf without extensive cooling requirements. The combination of copper and fiber interfaces helps reduce cabling complexity and enables higher-speed backbone or uplink links when needed.

Suitable for

• Small office network aggregation and uplinks
• Home lab setups and test environments
• Edge and branch office connectivity
• Media streaming or NAS uplinks requiring 10G capacity
• Integration where mixed copper and fiber ports are needed

Key specifications

• Number of ports: six access ports including Gigabit copper and Gigabit-capable interfaces
• Uplink slots: three SFP+ slots supporting 1G and 10G transceivers
• Data rates: Gigabit Ethernet on copper ports; up to 10 Gbit/s on SFP+ links
• Form factor: compact metal enclosure suitable for desktop or shelf mounting
• Cooling: fanless design for silent operation
• Power: efficient power consumption with standard DC input (see manufacturer documentation for exact requirements)

How to use

Install the switch on a stable surface or in a suitable rack space and connect power using the specified DC input. Use standard Ethernet cables to connect end devices to the Gigabit copper ports and insert compatible SFP or SFP+ transceivers into the SFP+ slots for fiber or 10G copper connections. Configure basic network settings through the device management interface as required by your network topology, setting VLANs, link aggregation or speed/duplex options according to your deployment needs.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a well-ventilated location away from direct heat sources. Use certified SFP/SFP+ modules compatible with the switch and high-quality CAT5e/CAT6 cables for best performance. For uplinks requiring sustained high throughput, prefer 10G SFP+ transceivers and configure link aggregation where redundancy or higher aggregate bandwidth is needed.
