SINGER ihly do šijacieho stroja Denim 90/14, balenie 5 ks – pre ťažké látky (denim, canvas)

SINGER sewing machine needles Denim 90/14, pack of 5 — for heavy fabrics (denim, canvas) are replacement needles for domestic sewing machines that accept standard needles. Each needle in the pack is size 90/14 and is produced for use with thick, tightly woven materials such as denim, canvas and similar heavy fabrics. These needles are designed to deliver reliable penetration and consistent stitch formation when sewing garments, bags, upholstery details and workwear made from dense textiles.

Advantages

The needles feature a robust point and reinforced shaft that help reduce skipped stitches and minimize thread breakage when working with multiple fabric layers. Their geometry supports smooth fabric feeding and stable stitch formation even at medium to high sewing speeds. Supplied as a pack of five, they provide convenient replacement frequency for regular projects with heavy materials and help maintain consistent sewing quality over time.

How to use

Select the Needle Denim 90/14 when your project involves thick or tightly woven materials. Turn off and unplug the sewing machine before changing needles. Remove the existing needle and insert a new needle with the flat side of the shank oriented according to your machine manufacturer’s instructions. Tighten the needle clamp securely, thread the machine with suitable heavier-duty thread if required, and test on a fabric scrap to adjust stitch length and tension for optimal performance.

Recommendations

Use thread and bobbin thread appropriate for heavy fabrics and consider increasing stitch length slightly to avoid fabric bunching. Replace needles after visible wear, bending, or after several hours of heavy sewing to maintain stitch quality and prevent damage to fabric and machine.
