Snímač prítomnosti Steinel True Presence UP KNX 056339 IP54 360° snímanie

Steinel True Presence UP KNX 056339 is a ceiling-mounted presence detector designed for integration with KNX building control systems. The device offers 360° detection and IP54 protection for indoor installations, and it senses micro-movements to reliably detect both moving and stationary occupants. Intended for automated lighting control and energy management, it is suitable for offices, meeting rooms and corridors.

Advantages

The detector provides 360° coverage and high sensitivity to micro-movements, enabling detection of stationary persons. Built to IP54 standards, it is suitable for typical indoor environments. Compatibility with KNX systems allows direct integration into building automation for lighting and energy control. Ceiling mounting ensures wide-area coverage while maintaining a discreet appearance.

Suitable for

• Offices and open-plan workspaces
• Meeting and conference rooms
• Corridors and circulation areas
• Shared areas where presence detection for lighting and HVAC is required

How to use

Install the presence detector in the ceiling at the recommended central position of the monitored area and connect it to the KNX bus according to Steinel installation instructions and local electrical regulations. Configure detection sensitivity, presence hold times and KNX communication parameters via the KNX engineering tool so that lighting and automation respond correctly to occupants. Test coverage and adjust placement or settings if necessary to ensure detection of stationary occupants.

Recommendations

For reliable detection of stationary people, place the detector centrally at the recommended height and fine-tune sensitivity and presence hold times during commissioning. Use KNX integration to implement timed lighting, vacancy detection and energy-saving profiles for the building.
