Spacák DEUTER Astro 500 EL -2°C / 28°F, dospelý mumia, 2200×800×520 mm, ripstop modrý

The Deuter Astro 500 EL is an extra-long mummy sleeping bag designed for taller adults (over 185 cm). Its H-shaped baffle construction with upright walls gives the down sufficient space to loft fully, improving insulation for comfortable sleep in cold conditions. The bag is made with ripstop fabric and meets environmental and social standards as a bluesign® product and Green Button certified item, using Responsible Down Standard (RDS) down.

Advantages

The extra-long cut provides more legroom for taller users while the H-shaped baffles maintain consistent loft and thermal performance. Ripstop fabric increases durability and resistance to wear. Certification under bluesign® and Green Button, together with RDS down, ensures environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing and traceable down sourcing.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This sleeping bag is not ideal for users shorter than its intended fit if they prefer a snugger, more compact bag. It may also be heavier or bulkier than minimalist ultralight options preferred for long-distance fastpacking or where weight and packed volume are critical.

Key specifications

How to use

Use the sleeping bag inside a tent or shelter to retain warmth and protect it from moisture and dirt. Fully unzip the bag for ventilation on milder nights, and zip it closed with a snug fit around the head and shoulders in colder conditions. Store the bag loosely in a large storage sack or hang it when not in use to preserve loft; compress only for transport in the provided pack sack.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Pair the Deuter Astro 500 EL with a good insulating sleeping pad and a breathable liner if you need extra warmth or want to protect the bag’s interior; follow care instructions to maintain the down loft and fabric performance.
