Spacák mumia DEUTER Astro 500 (-2°C/28°F), ripstop modrý, 2050×750×480 mm

The Deuter Astro 500 is a mummy-style down sleeping bag designed for cold-weather use, rated to around -2°C (28°F). Upright walls in the H-shaped baffle construction give the down feathers room to loft fully, improving thermal performance while keeping the bag compact and lightweight for travel. The shell is made from ripstop fabric in blue and the product meets bluesign® and Green Button environmental and social standards; the down used is certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

Advantages

H-shaped baffles with upright walls maximise down loft and insulation while minimising cold spots. The mummy cut reduces volume and improves heat retention around the head and torso. Certification to bluesign®, Green Button and RDS signals reduced environmental impact and verified responsible sourcing. Ripstop outer fabric increases durability for outdoor use.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This mummy bag is optimised for warmth and low volume; it may feel restrictive for users who prefer a roomier rectangular bag or who sleep spread-eagle. It is not intended for extreme cold or high-altitude mountaineering below the stated temperature rating.

How to use

Unpack the sleeping bag and allow it to loft fully before use so the down reaches maximum insulating potential. Use the mummy hood and drawcord to reduce heat loss around the head, and zip the bag properly to avoid drafts. For storage between trips keep the bag uncompressed in a large storage sack or hung in a dry place; compress only in the supplied pack for transport.
