Optický kábel Synergy 21 80m OM4 LC - LC

The Synergy 21 80m OM4 LC - LC fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in modern networks. With a 50 µm core and OM4 multimode specification, this 80-metre duplex cable provides consistent optical performance for longer-reach multimode links. Both ends are fitted with LC connectors to ensure compact, low-loss connections compatible with a wide range of switches, transceivers and patch panels used in data centers and enterprise environments.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers higher bandwidth and lower modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode cables, allowing reliable transmission at higher data rates and over extended distances. The duplex LC–LC termination ensures straightforward installation in patching and equipment ports while maintaining low insertion loss. The 80 m length reduces the need for additional splices or intermediate patching when wiring larger rooms or linking adjacent racks.

Suitable for

• Data center horizontal and rack-to-rack connections
• High-performance server and storage network links
• Short- to medium-range optical backbone and aggregation links
• Connections between switches and transceivers using LC interfaces

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM4
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 80 m
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Polishing/termination: Factory-terminated LC connectors
• Mode: Full duplex (duplex cable)

How to use

Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius when installing in racks or cable trays. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks; ensure the connector keys match the receptacle orientation. Use dust caps during storage and remove them immediately before connection to prevent contamination. Test the installed link with appropriate optical test equipment to verify insertion loss and end-to-end connectivity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM4 cable with compatible OM4-rated transceivers and follow structured cabling best practices: keep connector endfaces clean, avoid exceeding the mechanical bend radius, and label both ends for easier maintenance. Periodic inspection and cleaning of LC ferrules will help maintain low loss and reliable links.
