Tesnenie dverí spodné Tesa 05405-102 nerezová oceľ, samolepiace, dĺžka 1 m

The Tesa door bottom seal in stainless steel is a self-adhesive trim designed to close the gap beneath interior and exterior doors. With a 1 m length and a slim stainless steel profile, it provides a discreet finish while reducing draughts, dust ingress, noise transmission and heat loss. The adhesive backing allows straightforward installation on straight door bottoms without the need for screws or drilling, making it suitable for retrofit or replacement tasks where a neat, low-profile seal is required.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction offers corrosion resistance and a clean metallic appearance that matches many modern door thresholds. The self-adhesive system enables quick application and immediate adhesion to suitable, even surfaces. By sealing the gap under the door, the profile contributes to improved thermal efficiency and reduced airborne dust and noise. Its slim design keeps the threshold area unobtrusive and compatible with most flooring transitions.

Suitable for

• Sealing gaps under interior doors to reduce drafts and sound transfer
• Exterior door thresholds where a slim stainless steel finish is preferred
• Retrofit installations without drilling or screwing
• Areas requiring low-profile seals to maintain aesthetic continuity

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel profile with adhesive backing
• Length: 1 meter
• Mounting type: self-adhesive installation
• Design: slim, low-profile trim suitable for straight door bottoms
• Primary functions: draught protection, dust reduction, noise attenuation, thermal sealing

How to use

Ensure the door bottom and surrounding surface are clean, dry and free of oil, dust and loose particles. Measure and, if necessary, cut the stainless steel profile to the required length using an appropriate metal cutter. Peel off the adhesive liner and align the profile along the straight edge of the door bottom; press firmly along the entire length to secure adhesion. Allow a short period for the adhesive to set before subjecting the seal to frequent mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For best results, apply the seal at ambient temperatures and onto surfaces that are smooth and non-porous. If installed on exterior doors exposed to heavy moisture or frequent mechanical wear, periodically check adhesion and consider supplementary mechanical fixing if appropriate for the door construction. Avoid application to uneven or heavily textured surfaces where full contact cannot be achieved.
