Tesniaca páska 3M Scotch Seal 5313 čierna 15 m x 7 mm guma

3M Scotch Seal 5313 Black is a self-adhesive rubber sealant tape, 15 m in length and 7 mm in width, designed to create watertight and airtight seals on a variety of surfaces. The tape combines elasticity with surface adhesion to conform to irregular joints and gaps, providing a continuous barrier against moisture, drafts and dust. Its flexible rubber composition allows it to compress and recover, making it suitable for dynamic connections and installations exposed to minor movement or vibration.

Advantages

The tape provides a reliable, continuous seal without the mess of liquid sealants and cures instantly on application. Its self-adhesive backing enables quick installation on clean, dry surfaces while the flexible rubber material maintains contact over uneven profiles. The narrow 7 mm width is useful for precise sealing in tight joints and around cables and small-diameter pipes, while the 15 m roll length reduces the need for frequent replenishment. The black color offers a discreet finish for visible installations.

Suitable for

• Sealing window and door frames to prevent drafts and water ingress
• Weatherproofing gaps around cable and pipe penetrations
• Creating a dust- and moisture-resistant barrier in household and light commercial repair tasks
• Sealing small irregular joints where a thin, conformable tape is required

Key specifications

• Material: flexible rubber sealant
• Adhesive type: self-adhesive backing
• Length: 15 m
• Width: 7 mm
• Color: black
• Primary properties: watertight and airtight sealing, conformable to irregular surfaces

How to use

Prepare the surface by cleaning and drying the area to remove dust, oil and loose particles. Measure and cut the required length of tape, peel away the release liner and press the adhesive side firmly onto the substrate, smoothing along the joint to ensure full contact and removal of air pockets. Overlap ends or butt joints as needed to maintain continuity of the seal. For best adhesion, apply pressure along the tape and avoid stretching the material during installation.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Apply at temperatures within the manufacturer’s recommended range for optimal adhesion. For long-term outdoor exposure, inspect seals periodically and replace tape where compression set or adhesive degradation is evident.
