Viking Stig trekking poles are adjustable Nordic walking poles designed for general hiking, fitness walking and everyday outdoor activity. These unisex poles provide length adjustability to match different user heights and changing terrain, and combine ergonomic grips, wrist straps and durable tips to deliver stable support and improved balance during walks and trail hikes.

Advantages

The poles feature a secure adjustment mechanism that allows quick and precise length setting for uphill, downhill and flat sections. How to use

Set the pole length so that your elbow forms approximately a 90-degree angle when the pole tip is placed on the ground beside your foot. Use the wrist strap to transfer some load from the hand to the forearm and maintain a relaxed grip on the handle. For uphill sections shorten the poles slightly; for downhill extend them a little to increase stability. Replace worn tips as needed to maintain traction and inspect the adjustment mechanism regularly to ensure secure locking.

Recommendations

Choose pole length and wrist strap tightness according to personal comfort and the activity: tighter straps for active Nordic walking, looser for casual strolling. Clean poles after muddy or sandy conditions and store dry to prevent wear. For mixed surfaces consider using protective rubber caps on the tips when walking on pavement.
