U-zámok ABUS 470/150HB230+USH470 čierny

The ABUS 470/150HB230+USH470 Black U-lock is a compact, rigid security lock designed to protect bicycles and small personal vehicles. With a rectangular shackle opening and a solid crossbar housing a key cylinder, the lock balances usability and physical resistance. It weighs 1.19 kg and provides a secure closure with two included keys for everyday locking and unlocking needs.

Advantages

The U-lock combines a hardened steel shackle and a robust lock body to resist cutting and leverage attacks typical in urban environments. Its compact dimensions—109 mm width and 230 mm height—allow stable mounting on many frames while still fitting common bike racks and posts. The keyed cylinder offers straightforward operation and the included spare key increases convenience for daily use.

Suitable for

• Securing city and commuter bicycles
• Locking scooters and electric kickboards in urban settings
• Protecting accessories such as panniers or smaller cargo during short stops

• Material: hardened steel shackle and sturdy lock body
• Shackle opening: 109 mm width × 230 mm height

How to use

Position the U-lock so the shackle encloses the bike frame and a secure fixed object such as a dedicated rack or a solid post. Insert the shackle into the lock body until it engages, then insert the key and turn to lock. To unlock, insert the key, turn and pull out the shackle. Use both keys provided to keep one as a spare in a safe place.

Recommendations

For improved security, place the lock as low and close to the frame as possible to reduce leverage space. When leaving a bicycle for longer periods or in higher-risk locations, consider combining the U-lock with an additional cable or chain to secure wheels or accessories. Regularly lubricate the key cylinder with a recommended lock lubricant to maintain smooth operation.
