Ugreen 50743 puzdro na disk puzdro na pevný disk čierna 2,5 palca

The UGREEN 50743 HDD enclosure converts a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD into an external USB-C drive, offering a compact black housing and plug-and-play operation. It supports SATA, SATA II and SATA III 2.5" drives and connects via USB Type-C for convenient portability and fast transfers. The enclosure is compatible with a single 2.5" drive and is suitable for backup, media access and expanding storage.

Advantages

The enclosure uses a reversible USB-C connector and a USB 3.1 Gen 2 compatible port to provide high-speed data transfer. UASP protocol support delivers improved transfer efficiency and lower CPU overhead compared with standard USB 3.0, and the plug-and-play design requires no drivers on most systems. The black brushed-style housing combines plastic and ABS materials for shock resistance and basic fire protection while remaining lightweight and portable.

Suitable for

• Turning an internal 2.5" HDD or SSD into an external USB drive
• Backing up documents, photos and videos
• Accessing or transporting large media libraries and work files
• Temporary storage expansion for laptops or small desktops

Close the enclosure, connect the included 50 cm USB-C to USB-A cable to a host computer and the enclosure, and the drive should appear as an external disk. For best results enable UASP on systems that support it and always use the operating system's safe-eject procedure before unplugging the device.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance, keep replacement cables under 3 ft (≈1 m) in length, ensure the host OS and controller support UASP for accelerated transfers, and safely remove the drive before disconnecting. Note that Windows XP 32-bit does not support drives above 2 TB.
