Upravovaný switch Trendnet TPE-1021WS

The Trendnet TPE-1021WS is a managed L2/L3/L4 Gigabit Ethernet switch with eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports that support Power over Ethernet (PoE). With a switching capacity of 20 Gbit/s and a MAC address table accommodating 8000 entries, this black rack-mountable switch is designed to integrate into business networks that require organized traffic handling, VLAN segmentation and PoE power delivery for connected devices.

Advantages

The switch provides full Gigabit performance on all RJ-45 ports and delivers PoE capabilities to power compatible devices directly through the network cable. Managed L2/L3/L4 functionality enables advanced traffic control, QoS and security policies. Compliance with a range of IEEE network standards ensures interoperability with existing infrastructure. Its compact, rack-friendly design and a weight of approximately 1.76 kg allow flexible installation in server rooms and network closets.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business networks requiring PoE for IP phones, wireless access points and security cameras
• Environments needing VLAN segmentation, QoS and multi-layer traffic management
• Rack-mounted network installations in office equipment rooms and telecommunications closets

How to use

Install the switch in a standard equipment rack or place it on a stable surface in a dry, ventilated area. Connect each network device to the appropriate RJ-45 port using Cat5e or higher cabling to ensure Gigabit speeds. Configure PoE settings and management features through the switch web interface or supported management protocols to define VLANs, QoS policies and security rules. Use appropriate grounding and follow local electrical standards when powering PoE devices.

Recommendations

For reliable PoE delivery and maximum performance, use certified Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, configure port-based power limits if necessary, and regularly update switch firmware. Plan VLAN and QoS settings according to traffic types (voice, video, data) and monitor the MAC table and port utilization to maintain optimal network operation.
