UV filter walimex pro tenký Super DMC 72mm – tenký UV ochranný filter 72 mm

Walimex pro Slim Super DMC 72mm is a slim-profile ultraviolet protection filter designed for lenses with a 72 mm front thread. It reduces UV haze and helps preserve image clarity while protecting the front element from dust, fingerprints and light scratches. The slim construction minimises the risk of vignetting on wide-angle lenses and keeps additional weight and bulk to a minimum, making it suitable for outdoor, landscape and travel photography where unobtrusive filtration is preferred.

Advantages

The slim metal frame and Super DMC multi-coating provide reliable UV attenuation and minimize flare and ghosting caused by stray light. Low-profile mounting reduces the chance of vignetting on wide-angle optics while maintaining secure attachment to the lens. The filter surface is easier to clean and more resistant to dirt and oils thanks to the multi-coated finish, helping to maintain optical performance over time.

Suitable for

• Outdoor and landscape photography where atmospheric UV haze needs reduction
• Travel photography when lens protection and compactness are important
• Everyday shooting to protect the front element from dust and minor damage
• Wide-angle lenses that require a slim filter to avoid vignetting

Key specifications

• Filter diameter: 72 mm
• Type: Ultraviolet (UV) protection filter
• Frame design: Slim/low-profile metal ring
• Optical treatment: Super DMC multi-coating to reduce reflections and improve scratch resistance
• Attachment: Screw-in thread compatible with 72 mm lens fronts

How to use

Screw the Walimex pro Slim Super DMC 72mm filter onto the lens’s 72 mm front thread until it is snug; avoid overtightening. Use the filter in front of your lens when shooting outdoors to reduce UV-related haze and protect the front element from dust, rain droplets and incidental contact. When stacking filters or using wide-angle lenses, check for vignetting and, if necessary, remove the filter or use a slimmer mounting solution. Clean the filter surface with a blower, soft brush and microfiber cloth to maintain optical clarity.

Recommendations

For landscape and travel work, keep the Walimex pro Slim Super DMC 72mm mounted as a protective layer and remove it only when using specialized filters (e.g., polarizers or graduated ND filters) that require different positioning. Store the filter in a protective pouch when not in use to avoid scratches and dust accumulation.
