UV filter Walimex pro tenký Super DMC 82mm — tenká UV ochrana pre 82 mm objektívy

The Walimex pro Slim Super DMC 82mm UV filter is a slim-profile protective filter designed for lenses with an 82 mm thread. It reduces ultraviolet light and atmospheric haze while maintaining natural colour reproduction and image clarity. The slim construction minimises vignetting on wide-angle lenses and the durable glass surface shields the front element from dust, moisture and accidental contact without altering exposure settings.

Advantages

This slim UV filter offers reliable UV attenuation and haze reduction while preserving contrast and colour fidelity. Its low-profile metal frame reduces the risk of vignetting on wide-angle optics and the multi-coated glass improves light transmission and reduces reflections. The filter screws on securely to 82 mm lens threads and provides physical protection for the lens front element during outdoor use and travel.

Key specifications

• Filter type: UV (ultraviolet) protective filter
• Mount thread diameter: 82 mm
• Frame design: slim / low-profile metal ring to reduce vignetting
• Optical construction: multi-coated glass for reduced reflections and improved transmission
• Primary functions: UV attenuation, haze reduction, front-element physical protection

How to use

Align the filter threads with the front of the lens and rotate clockwise until the filter is seated evenly and snugly; avoid overtightening. Use the slim filter on wide-angle lenses to minimise vignetting; check the viewfinder or live view for any darkening in corners at wide focal lengths. Clean the coated glass with a soft lens cloth or blower before mounting and after use to maintain image quality. When not in use, store the filter in a protective case to prevent scratches.

Recommendations

For landscape and travel photography, leave the UV filter mounted as basic front-element protection. If using stacked filters or extreme wide-angle adapters, verify for vignette and remove the filter if necessary. Clean only with lens-safe tools and avoid abrasive materials to maintain multi-coating performance.
