Veko hrnca Pensofal 4953 – 20 cm hliník s gombíkom z liatej mosadze

Pensofal 4953 is a 20 cm cookware lid made from aluminum with a cast brass knob. Engineered for compatibility with 20 cm pots and pans, the lid supports even heat conduction across its surface and helps retain steam and moisture during stovetop cooking. Its medium diameter makes it suitable for everyday use, providing a balance between weight and coverage for common kitchen tasks.

Advantages

The aluminum construction delivers efficient heat transfer while remaining lightweight for easy handling. A cast brass knob provides a robust grip that resists deformation and tolerates frequent use. The lid’s profile is designed to sit securely on compatible cookware, reducing steam escape and supporting energy-efficient cooking. Its simple, uncoated surface is easy to clean and maintain.

Suitable for

• Covering 20 cm pots and pans for simmering and boiling
• Retaining moisture during braising and steaming
• Reducing splatter during frying or shallow cooking
• Everyday stovetop cooking in domestic kitchens

Key specifications

• Material: aluminum lid body with cast brass knob
• Diameter: 20 cm (fits cookware with 20 cm opening)
• Design: flat to slightly domed profile for steam retention
• Compatibility: intended for stovetop pots and pans of matching diameter

How to use

Place the Pensofal 4953 lid on a compatible 20 cm pot or pan so that the rim sits evenly on the cookware edge. Use the lid to trap heat and moisture while simmering, boiling, braising or steaming. Handle the cast brass knob with oven mitts or a cloth when hot to avoid burns. After use, allow the lid to cool before washing; clean with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge to preserve the surface finish.

Recommendations

For prolonged high-heat applications or oven use verify compatibility with your cookware and heat source; avoid exposing the cast brass knob to direct open flame. To maintain performance, dry the lid thoroughly after washing and store in a dry place to prevent corrosion on any exposed fittings.
