Video kábel adaptér ProXtend USBC-DP-0005 0,5m USB Type-C DisplayPort čierny

The ProXtend USBC-DP-0005 0.5m USB Type-C DisplayPort Black is a short video cable adapter designed to link USB Type-C hosts to DisplayPort-enabled monitors and projectors. Its 0.5 m length provides a compact connection between laptops, tablets or compatible smartphones and external displays. The cable features a black finish and is intended for reliable transmission of video signals when a direct DisplayPort connection is required from a device with a USB-C output.

Advantages

This adapter offers a compact form factor and a robust black cable jacket for everyday portability and desk use. It eliminates the need for an intermediate docking station when a single DisplayPort connection is sufficient, providing a straightforward plug-and-play connection. The 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter while maintaining a stable physical link between device and display.

Suitable for

• Connecting a USB Type-C laptop to a DisplayPort monitor for presentations or extended desktop
• Attaching tablets or smartphones with video-output capable USB-C ports to external displays
• Use in workstations or meeting rooms where a short, direct video cable is preferred
• Temporary setups such as trade shows, classrooms, or client demonstrations

Key specifications

• Connector A: USB Type-C (video output compatible)
• Connector B: DisplayPort (display input)
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C end to the host device’s USB-C port that supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). Insert the DisplayPort plug into the monitor or projector input. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display source to the corresponding DisplayPort input. Adjust resolution and refresh rate in the host device display settings as needed to match the external monitor capabilities.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C. Avoid bending the cable sharply at the connectors and keep the length short to reduce potential signal loss. If higher resolutions or longer distances are required, consider a certified active adapter or a longer cable solution matched to the target display specifications.
