Vláknový kábel Qoltec 54082 LC OM3 20 m aqua

The Qoltec 54082 LC OM3 20 m Aqua is a 20-metre multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex connections, this OM3-rated cable supports high-speed short-range data transmission in structured networks and data center environments. The aqua jacket identifies the OM3 specification and helps with quick visual organisation in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable provides reliable full duplex transmission with LC-to-LC connectivity and a standardized 50 µm core diameter suitable for multimode links. The 20 m length accommodates installations between racks or network equipment without additional splices. The aqua-coloured jacket improves cable management and identification. The LC connectors are compact and commonly used in high-density networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches and servers within racks or between adjacent racks
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames in data centres
• Short-range multimode backbone and horizontal links
• Telecommunication rooms and structured cabling runs

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Cable length: 20 m
• Duplex: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Aqua

How to use

Route the cable between the desired network ports, taking care to maintain the minimum bend radius specified by your installation guidelines and to avoid kinks or tight bends. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on your equipment or patch panel until it clicks. Verify proper alignment and secure routing in cable management trays or ties as needed. For duplex links ensure transmit and receive channels are connected to the correct ports on both ends to establish two-way communication.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre ends with care and keep protective caps on connectors until installation. Maintain appropriate bend radius and avoid pulling the cable by the connectors. For optimal performance in data centre or high-density environments, use compatible LC ports and follow multimode OM3 link budget guidelines for cable length and transceiver types.
