ACT RL9704 InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 4 m LC I-V(ZN) H fialový

The ACT RL9704 InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 4 m, violet-coloured multimode OM4 link with LC connectors designed for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission. Built to meet the demands of data centre and enterprise networking, this cable provides a reliable optical connection between switches, servers and storage systems. The I-V(ZN) H jacket construction offers enhanced mechanical protection and flexibility while maintaining signal integrity over short to medium distances typical for rack-to-rack and intra-rack links.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable supports high bandwidth and low attenuation for demanding InfiniBand environments, enabling consistent, low-latency performance. The LC connector pair ensures precise alignment and secure mating in dense patching panels. The 4-metre length provides sufficient reach for many rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel runs without excess slack. The violet jacket colour improves visual identification and routing in multi-cable installations, and the I-V(ZN) H construction increases durability while remaining flexible for tight cable management.

Key specifications

• Length: 4 metres
• Connector type: LC to LC (duplex)
• Fibre type: Multimode OM4
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Jacket type: I-V(ZN) H construction for mechanical protection
• Colour: Violet

How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cable tray maintaining gentle bends to avoid exceeding the fibre minimum bend radius. Insert LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on equipment or patch panels until the latch clicks; ensure proper transmit-to-receive pairing for full-duplex links. For optimal signal quality, keep connectors clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and avoid touching the ferrule end faces. Secure excess cable length with ties or Velcro straps designed for fibre cabling to prevent microbends.
