Vodítko na vodítku Hilton Smart Dog Tape XL — 7 m, pre psy do 40 kg, čierno-sivá

Hilton Smart Dog Tape XL is a retractable dog leash with a 7 m tape length designed for dogs up to 40 kg. The leash combines an automatic retraction mechanism with a tape-style lead and an ergonomic handle to give controlled freedom during walks. It is intended for everyday walking, training sessions and outdoor activities with medium to large dogs, offering a balance between range and control in a compact form factor.

Advantages

The automatic mechanism provides smooth extension and reliable retraction, helping to manage leash length with minimal effort. A 7 m tape gives longer reach than standard short leads while the tape construction reduces wind resistance and tangling compared with cord-style retractable leads. The ergonomic handle improves grip and comfort during prolonged use, and the construction is suited for dogs up to 40 kg, making it appropriate for medium and larger breeds.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The retractable tape design may be less suitable for very small dogs or puppies where a shorter, fixed-length lead is preferable for close control. It may also not be ideal in very crowded urban environments or on busy streets where a shorter lead and firmer restraint improve safety.

Key specifications

How to use

Hold the ergonomic handle firmly and release the lock to allow the tape to extend as the dog moves away. Use the locking mechanism to fix the tape at a chosen length when needed. To retract, activate the release so the tape winds back into the housing smoothly; keep the tape taut during retraction to avoid slack and sudden snapping. Regularly inspect the tape and mechanism for wear, and replace the leash if the tape shows fraying or if the retraction becomes irregular.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this retractable leash in open spaces for controlled freedom; in busy areas shorten the tape using the lock. Combine with basic recall training so the dog responds to voice commands even at extended distances. Periodically check the mechanism and tape condition to ensure safe operation.
