The Roadinger freestanding rack 12U in black is a compact, mobile cabinet designed to store and organize network and audio-visual equipment in small server rooms, studios or event setups. With a rated load capacity of 50 kg and a total weight of 18.7 kg, the unit provides a balance between portability and stable support for patch panels, switches, small amplifiers and other 19-inch mounted devices. Castor wheels allow straightforward relocation while the open-frame design facilitates ventilation and cable access.

Advantages

This 12U rack combines a modest footprint with a 50 kg load capability, enabling installation of multiple light-to-medium components without occupying excessive floor space. How to use

Position the rack on a level surface and lock the castor wheels if they include brakes to secure the unit during installation. Mount 19-inch compatible devices into the 12U frame using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts where required, beginning with heavier components at the bottom to maintain stability. Route power and data cables through the open sides or rear, keeping power and data lines separated where possible to reduce interference. Verify that the total weight of installed equipment does not exceed the 50 kg capacity.

Recommendations

For safe operation, distribute heavier equipment toward the lower U positions, use additional cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors, and check wheel locks before leaving the rack unattended. Avoid exceeding the specified load and ensure adequate ventilation around heat-generating components.
