Signify Philips Arbour Wall Light is an outdoor wall luminaire in anthracite grey that suspends a cube of light in a die-cast aluminium cradle. The integrated LED delivers warm white light and bi-directional beams up and down walls, providing functional and decorative illumination for porches, façades and garden walls. The fixture is designed for mains AC (220–240 V) operation and combines a durable metal housing with weatherproofing for outdoor use.

Advantages

The luminaire offers high energy efficiency with low rated power consumption and long LED lifetime, reducing electricity use and maintenance. Its metal construction and IP44 weatherproofing ensure reliable outdoor performance, while the up-and-down light effect enhances architectural features. Additional built-in sensors can provide automatic switching and improved convenience.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This compact single-bulb wall light is intended for accent and functional outdoor lighting rather than broad-area floodlighting. It may not provide sufficient illumination where high-intensity or wide-angle coverage is required, for example large driveways or expansive security lighting needs.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the wall light on a suitable vertical surface following applicable electrical safety regulations and local wiring codes. Connect to a 220–240 V AC supply and secure the fixture’s backplate to the wall; the integrated LED and sensors are pre-installed. Position the fitting at a height and orientation that directs the bi-directional beams where accent or pathway illumination is required. For sensor operation, adjust surrounding installation and clearance so the motion and day/night sensors perform as intended.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Install at a height that delivers the desired wall-wash effect (commonly 1.8–2.4 m above ground) and keep sensor fields unobstructed. Use multiple fixtures spaced along a façade or pathway for even accent lighting rather than relying on a single unit for broad coverage.
