Vŕtačka s pištoľovou rukoväťou Metabo BS 18 L BL Q, 1700 ot/min, 1,3 kg

The Metabo BS 18 L BL Q is a compact pistol grip drill designed for straightforward drilling and screwdriving tasks. Equipped with a brushless motor and an 18 V rechargeable battery system, this model delivers efficient power in a lightweight 1.3 kg package. The drill reaches a maximum idle speed of 1700 RPM and can drill up to 40 mm in wood, while integrated features such as an LED work light, overload protection and a magnetic hexagon recess for screwdriver bits support precise, uninterrupted work in confined or overhead positions. The tool is supplied with two batteries and comes with a removable belt hook, bit case and compatibility with the Metabo quick system and metaBOX storage solution.

Advantages

The brushless motor increases efficiency and extends runtime compared with brushed alternatives, while overload protection helps prevent motor damage under heavy use. Its compact pistol grip design and low weight make the tool easier to handle for extended periods and in tight spaces. The integrated LED light improves visibility in low-light conditions and the magnetic hexagon recess allows screwdriving without the chuck. Quick-change compatibility with chucks, bit holders and angle adapters adds flexibility for a range of applications.

Suitable for

• General drilling in wood and light materials
• Screwdriving and fastening tasks on construction sites and in workshops
• Work in confined spaces or overhead operations
• Mobile jobs where compact size and battery operation are needed

How to use

Charge the included 18 V batteries fully before first use and insert a charged battery into the drill until it locks in place. Select the appropriate drill bit or screwdriver bit and secure it using the quick-change system or the integrated magnetic hexagon recess for bit-only operation. Choose a suitable speed setting for the material and task, then apply steady pressure while drilling or driving. Use the LED work light to illuminate the work area when needed. Observe overload protection by reducing load or allowing the motor to cool if the tool indicates excessive strain.

Recommendations

For best results use sharp, application-appropriate bits and maintain moderate, consistent pressure to avoid stalling. Keep the ventilation slots clear and store the drill in the supplied metaBOX for transport and protection. When working in dusty environments, clean the tool and battery contacts regularly and use compatible 18 V battery packs to ensure optimal runtime and performance.
