Vŕtačka s pištoľovou rukoväťou Metabo POWERMAXX BS BASIC 1400 ot/min, 800 g, rýchloupínacie skľučovadlo

The Metabo POWERMAXX BS BASIC is a pistol grip drill designed for light to medium woodworking and general household tasks. It features a compact, ergonomic body in black and red, a keyless chuck for quick bit changes and an effective idle speed of 1400 RPM. Supplied with a 2 Ah Lithium Polymer battery and a second battery for extended use, the tool combines mobility with practical performance while weighing approximately 0.8 kg for comfortable one-handed operation.

Advantages

The keyless chuck simplifies bit replacement without additional tools, while the adjustable speed control allows precise matching of rotation speed to material and task. A built-in light improves visibility in dim work areas. Battery power provides cordless freedom for use away from mains sockets, and the lightweight design reduces user fatigue during repetitive or overhead work.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in wood with diameters up to approximately 18 mm
• Light assembly and disassembly tasks with screwdriver bits
• DIY projects, furniture installation and on-site repairs
• Working in confined or poorly lit spaces where a compact drill is needed

Key specifications

• Idle speed (max): 1400 RPM
• Power source: Lithium Polymer battery (2 Ah) with a spare battery included
• Weight: approx. 0.8 kg
• Chuck type: keyless chuck for quick bit changes
• Adjustable speed: yes
• Built-in light: yes
• Product colour: black and red

How to use

Fit the appropriate drill or screwdriver bit into the keyless chuck and tighten by hand until secure. Adjust the speed setting according to the material and task; start at a lower speed for pilot holes and increase as required. Use the built-in light to improve visibility when working in dark areas. Change batteries when power decreases and follow the battery manufacturer’s instructions for charging and storage. Maintain a firm grip on the pistol handle and apply steady, even pressure while drilling to ensure accurate results.

Recommendations

For optimal wood drilling performance, use sharp, purpose-designed wood bits and set the speed below maximum when starting holes. Keep the workpiece clamped to prevent slipping and allow the drill to reach working speed before applying pressure. Charge batteries fully before extended work and store them in a cool, dry place.
