Vzduchový chladič Noctua NH-L9A-AM5 — low-profile CPU chladič, socket AM5, 92-mm ventilátor, 37 mm výška, 40,8 m³/h prietok vzduchu

The NH-L9a-AM5 is Noctua's AM5-specific revision of the NH-L9a low-profile air cooler, developed for AMD Ryzen-based HTPC and small form factor (SFF) systems. With a total height of 37 mm and a compact footprint, it provides full RAM and PCIe compatibility on tightly packed mini-ITX motherboards while keeping near-socket connectors accessible. The package includes the SecuFirm2™ AM5 mounting system, the NT-H1 thermal compound and the highly optimised NF-A9x14 92 mm fan which supports PWM speed control.

Advantages

The low 37 mm profile allows installation in extremely slim cases without obstructing RAM or PCIe slots, while the small footprint ensures compatibility with compact ITX layouts. The custom SecuFirm2™ mounting for AM5 simplifies installation, the NF-A9x14 fan offers efficient airflow with automatic PWM control for quiet operation, and the included NT-H1 thermal paste ensures reliable thermal transfer out of the box. The cooler's beige and brown finish matches Noctua's common aesthetic for cohesive system builds.

Suitable for

• HTPC (home theatre PC) systems with AMD AM5 processors
• Small Form Factor (SFF) and mini-ITX builds
• Systems where low height and full RAM/PCIe compatibility are required

Key specifications

• Type: Air cooler
• Height: 37 mm
• Fan diameter: 92 mm (NF-A9x14)
• Fan speed: 600–2500 RPM (PWM‑controlled)
• Airflow: 40.8 m³/h
• Supported socket: AM5
• Weight: 0.465 kg
• Colour: Beige / Brown

How to use

Fit the NH-L9a-AM5 onto an AM5 socket using the supplied SecuFirm2™ mounting hardware following the included manual. Apply the pre-included NT-H1 thermal compound or a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the CPU heatspreader, position the cooler squarely on the socket and secure it with the mounting screws. Connect the 4‑pin PWM fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard to enable automatic speed control.

Recommendations

Install the cooler in a case with adequate airflow and ensure the NF-A9x14 fan's cable is connected to a PWM-capable header for optimal balance of cooling and low noise. Verify RAM and PCIe clearance on your specific mini-ITX board before final assembly.
