Interný pevný disk Western Digital 24 TB 3,5 palca SAS DC HC590

The Western Digital Internal Hard Drive DC HC590 provides 24 TB of storage in a 3.5" SAS form factor and operates at 7200 RPM. Designed for enterprise environments, this HDD balances high capacity and sustained performance for data centers and large-scale storage arrays while fitting standard rack and server infrastructures.

Advantages

This drive leverages an 11-disk CMR platform and technologies such as OptiNAND™ and energy-assisted Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (ePMR) to increase storage density and improve drive efficiency. Built-in features like Rotational Vibration Safeguard (RVS) and Dynamic Fly Height protect performance in high-vibration and shock-prone environments. The drive offers modes for write cache management (WCD/WCE) to prioritize random write performance or cached-data protection during power loss. It carries a projected MTBF rating and a multi-year limited warranty for enterprise reliability.

Suitable for

• Enterprise and hyperscale data center storage arrays
• High-density archival and backup storage
• Large-scale object storage and cold/hot tiers

How to use

Install the drive into a compatible 3.5" SAS bay or server chassis following your server or storage array manufacturer’s installation guidelines. Configure RAID or storage pooling as required by your system. Choose the appropriate write cache mode (WCD for higher random write performance or WCE to protect cached data during power loss) in the host/controller settings. Monitor drive health and firmware updates through your storage management tools.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term reliability, operate the drive in environments that meet the manufacturer’s temperature and vibration specifications, ensure proper airflow in the chassis, and use compatible controllers that support SAS and enterprise HDD features such as RVS and power-loss protection modes.
