Wentronic Goobay CAT 6 patch kábel, U/UTP, sivý, 20 m - LSZH bezhalogénový, meď (93690)

A network technician runs a new drop from a patch panel to a workstation in a busy office. The cable must be long enough to route cleanly along cable trays, withstand frequent reconnections, and meet strict fire safety codes. This 20-metre CAT 6 patch cable from Wentronic Goobay answers that call with solid performance and a safety-first jacket.

Key specifications

• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Conductor material: Copper
• Jacket material: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, gold-plated contacts
• Wiring standard: TIA/EIA 568B
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Data transfer rate: 1 Gbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Cable construction: Stranded, 26 AWG, 4 pairs
• Compliance: RoHS

Why choose it

The LSZH jacket emits very low smoke and no toxic halogens when exposed to fire, making it ideal for enclosed spaces where people and equipment need protection. Copper conductors ensure reliable signal integrity over the full 20-metre run, while stranded construction gives the cable flexibility for tight bends and repeated handling. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain a clean connection over many plug cycles.

Ideal use cases

• Office networks connecting computers to wall outlets or switches
• Data centres and server rooms where cable management and safety are critical
• Public buildings, schools, and hospitals requiring halogen-free cabling
• Temporary setups for events or testing where a longer, reliable patch lead is needed

Good to know

This cable supports Gigabit Ethernet and is backward compatible with CAT 5e and lower standards. The grey colour blends discreetly into most environments. The unshielded design is suitable for areas without high electromagnetic interference, and the LSZH material meets common fire safety regulations for indoor use.
