Optický kábel Goobay LC-LC 10 m

The Goobay LC-LC 10 m fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in offices, industrial environments and computer centres. It uses OM4 multimode fibre with a 25 µm core diameter and halogen-free, flame-retardant sheath. Both ends are fitted with LC duplex connectors with protective dust covers, and each cable is supplied with a test protocol showing measured transmission performance.

Advantages

OM4 multimode fibre provides extended reach and higher bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode types. LC duplex connectors offer compact, reliable connections suitable for dense patching. The halogen-free, flame-retardant outer sheath improves safety in enclosed spaces. Supplied test documentation verifies performance for installation and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server rooms
• Office network backbones and patch panels
• Industrial communication links and control cabinets
• High-density networking racks and equipment cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 25 µm
• Connector type: LC duplex — both ends with dust covers
• Sheath: halogen-free, flame retardant
• Included: individual test protocol
• Maximum transmission ranges: 100 Mbit/s — up to 500 m (OM2/OM3/OM4); 1 Gbit/s — OM2 up to 500 m, OM3/OM4 up to 1100 m; 10 Gbit/s — OM2 up to 82 m, OM3 up to 300 m, OM4 up to 550 m

How to use

Route the fibre cable between equipment ports or patch panels ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks. Remove protective dust covers from LC connectors only immediately before insertion. Insert the LC duplex connectors into compatible LC ports until they click into place. Verify connection and consult the supplied test protocol to confirm performance; secure the cable along its route to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre cable by the connector housings and keep dust covers on when connectors are not in use. Maintain minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre, avoid tensile strain, and store the cable in a dry, dust-free environment to preserve transmission quality.
