Sieťový kábel Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF sivý 305 m

The Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF network cable (305 m) delivers high-speed, stable signal transmission for home and office networks. Constructed with high-quality inner conductors, S/FTP shielding and a protective outer sheath, the cable is designed to minimise interference and ensure consistent data transfer. It is suitable for demanding video and data applications, including high-resolution image transmission.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding and pair-in-metal-foil (PiMF) construction reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving overall performance. Robust cable sheathing and precise conductor assembly provide long-term reliability and mechanical protection. The 305 m length is convenient for large installations or bulk deployment in structured cabling projects.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks and office LAN installations
• Structured cabling runs and patch panel connections
• High-resolution video transmission such as 8K @ 60 Hz and 4K @ 120 Hz
• Data centres and network backbone segments requiring reduced interference

How to use

Measure and route the cable according to your installation plan, allowing appropriate slack for terminations. Terminate using compatible RJ45 connectors or punch down onto keystone jacks/patch panels following CAT 6 wiring standards (T568A or T568B). Ensure the foil shielding is correctly grounded at one end when required by your grounding scheme. Test each link with an appropriate cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and near-end/far-end performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance maintain separation from strong electrical sources, avoid excessive bending or crushing of the cable, and use shielded connectors and proper grounding for the S/FTP design. For long runs and critical links, verify performance with a certified tester to ensure compliance with CAT 6 parameters.
