XLR konektor ShiverPeaks BS55002-Y žltý — 3-pólový káblový konektor, uzamykateľné kovové puzdro

ShiverPeaks BS55002-Y is a yellow 3-pin XLR cable connector designed to provide secure, balanced audio connections. The connector has a metal housing with a locking mechanism to ensure stable contact in professional audio, stage, broadcast and recording environments. It is intended for use in cable assemblies and field repairs where a durable, reliable XLR male/female interface is required.

Advantages

The metal housing delivers mechanical robustness and improved shielding against electromagnetic interference, while the locking mechanism prevents accidental disconnection during use. Colour coding in yellow simplifies identification and routing of signal lines in complex setups. The standard 3-pin configuration supports balanced audio connections for low-noise signal transmission.

Suitable for

• Stage and live sound systems
• Broadcast studios and OB vans
• Recording studios and instrument connections
• Cable assemblies and on-site repairs
• Interconnects for microphones, DI boxes and mixers

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3-pin XLR (balanced audio)
• Housing material: metal (durable, shielded)
• Locking mechanism: mechanical latch for secure mating
• Colour: yellow (for visual identification)
• Contact configuration: three contacts suitable for microphone and line-level signals

How to use

Strip the cable to expose conductors according to standard XLR wiring practice, insert and solder or crimp the conductors to the corresponding contacts, then assemble the metal housing and secure the locking latch. Verify polarity and continuity after assembly and perform a functional test in the target audio chain before regular use. For field repairs, remove the damaged connector, prepare the cable end and follow the same wiring and assembly steps to restore a reliable connection.

Recommendations

Use appropriate soldering or crimping tools and follow industry-standard wiring conventions for balanced audio (pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold). Avoid over-tightening housing screws to prevent damage to the connector shell; route cables to minimize strain on the connector and maintain secure locking during live performance or transport.
