3D skener Creality CR-Scan Otter vysokopresný prenosný ručný 3D skener

The Creality CR-Scan Otter high accuracy portable handheld 3D scanner is designed for fast, precise digitization of objects and models. Lightweight and plug-and-play, it captures surface geometry and texture data suitable for reverse engineering, 3D printing preparation and digital archiving. The device is intended for small to medium-sized parts and delivers detailed scans that integrate with common 3D workflows and inspection software.

Advantages

The scanner provides high-accuracy capture in a compact, portable form factor that simplifies on-site and studio scanning. Its handheld operation and intuitive setup reduce preparation time, while integrated texture and geometry capture preserve surface detail for downstream modeling or printing. Compatibility with standard output formats streamlines transfer to CAD, mesh editing and 3D printing applications.

Suitable for

• Reverse engineering of small to medium mechanical parts
• Preparing models for 3D printing and replication
• Quality inspection and dimensional comparison
• Digitizing objects for digital archives and cultural heritage
• Creating textured 3D assets for visualization and design

Key specifications

• Form factor: portable handheld 3D scanner
• Target objects: small to medium-sized items and models
• Capture type: geometry and surface texture
• Operation: plug-and-play, minimal setup
• Output: standard 3D mesh formats compatible with CAD and 3D printing workflows

How to use

Connect the scanner to a compatible host device and launch the supplied scanning software. Position the object on a stable surface and move the handheld scanner smoothly around the item, keeping a consistent distance to ensure full coverage. Monitor the live view in the software to verify alignment and add scan passes for occluded areas. After capture, use the software tools to align, merge and clean the mesh before exporting to the desired format for editing, inspection or printing.

Recommendations

For consistent results, scan in a well-lit, stable environment and avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces without a mattifying agent. Use turntables or positioning aids for small parts to simplify full-surface capture. Validate exported meshes in your CAD or slicer software and apply mesh repair or decimation as needed for 3D printing or analysis.
