ACT Firewire IEEE1394 prepojovací kábel 6-pin konektor - 6-pin konektor 1,80 m

The ACT Firewire Cable ACT FW1020 6-pin male to 6-pin male 1.80m is a 1.8 metre black IEEE 1394 connection cable designed to link Firewire-compatible devices. With identical 6-pin male connectors on both ends, the cable provides a fixed, direct connection between cameras, external hard drives, audio interfaces and other legacy multimedia equipment that use Firewire. The cable supports high-speed data transfer rates typical for IEEE 1394 interfaces and is supplied as a single unit in the pack.

Advantages

This Firewire cable features stable 6-pin to 6-pin connectors that ensure secure plug-in connections and consistent signal transmission. Its 1.8 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management, suitable for desktop and studio setups. The black jacket provides discreet appearance and basic protection for the internal conductors, while compatibility with IEEE 1394 devices enables reliable transfers of video footage, audio streams and large data files.

Suitable for

• Connecting digital video cameras to computers or capture devices
• Linking external Firewire hard drives for data transfer or backup
• Connecting audio interfaces or mixers with Firewire ports
• Integrating legacy multimedia equipment in editing suites and studios

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Connectors: 6-pin male to 6-pin male
• Colour: Black
• Interface standard: IEEE 1394 (Firewire)
• Pack contents: 1 cable

How to use

Insert each 6-pin male connector firmly into the corresponding Firewire port on the two devices you wish to connect. Ensure both devices are powered down when connecting or disconnecting if recommended by the device manufacturers. After connection, power on the devices and verify that the host system recognises the attached device; proceed with file transfer, device control or capture operations using your operating system or application software.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension in the cable to maintain signal integrity. For consistent high-speed transfers, use short-to-moderate lengths and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If a device is not recognised, check connector seating and try a different Firewire port or host system.
