ACT RL9717 InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 17 m LC I-V(ZN) H fialový

The ACT RL9717 InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 17 m OM4-rated duplex link with LC connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in professional network environments. Built for full duplex communication, the cable supports low-loss multimode connections and is intended for use where consistent bandwidth and signal integrity are required. The violet jacket and robust construction help with cable identification and physical durability in data centers and telecommunications racks.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fibre core enables higher modal bandwidth and longer reach compared with lower-grade multimode cables, supporting demanding InfiniBand and high-speed Ethernet applications. LC connectors provide a compact duplex interface that simplifies port density in switches and transceivers. The 17 m length offers flexibility for mid-range rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links while the durable outer jacket reduces risk of damage from handling and installation.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections in data centers
• InfiniBand fabrics and high-performance computing clusters
• High-speed storage networks and fibre channel environments
• Telecommunications cabinets and equipment rooms requiring OM4 performance

Key specifications

• Length: 17 metres
• Connector type: LC duplex
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Violet

How to use

Inspect both connector endfaces and ports for dust and contamination before connecting, using appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Gently insert the LC duplex connectors into compatible ports until they click into place, ensuring correct orientation for transmit and receive channels. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain recommended minimum bend radii for OM4 multimode fibre. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or port.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry environment and avoid compressing the jacket. For reliable performance, use with compatible InfiniBand or multi-mode transceivers rated for OM4. Periodically inspect and clean connectors to maintain low insertion loss and return loss characteristics.
