Aktívny optický kábel BlueOptics 25G SFP28 AOC 10m pre Ethernet/Infiniband (BlueOptics 980-9I532-00A010)

Active Optical Cable BlueOptics 25G SFP28 AOC 10m delivers a factory-terminated optical connection for 25GBASE-SR links. This 10 meter AOC uses SFP28 form-factor plugs at both ends to provide a direct fiber-attached connection between compatible SFP28 ports, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. It is designed for short-reach, high-bandwidth interconnects in data centers, server rooms and network racks where 25 Gbit/s throughput and low latency are required for Ethernet and InfiniBand environments.

Advantages

The BlueOptics AOC simplifies deployment by combining fiber cabling and transceiver functionality into a single, pre-terminated assembly that reduces installation time and potential signal loss from additional connections. The AOC supports 25 Gbit/s signaling and is optimized for short-reach multi-mode links, offering stable performance and reduced power consumption compared with separate optical transceivers and patch cords. Its SFP28 connectors ensure compatibility with standard SFP28 ports used in modern switches, servers and NICs.

How to use

Install the 10 m AOC by inserting each SFP28 plug into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch clicks. Ensure devices are powered and configured for 25G operation according to the switch or host interface settings. No separate transceivers or fiber patching is required; the cable is factory-terminated for immediate operation. Verify link status and interface parameters in the device management interface to confirm correct negotiation and signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use this AOC in short-reach rack-to-rack or server-to-switch connections within the same room or row. Avoid sharp bends and maintain manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for optical cables. Ensure both endpoints support SFP28 25G operation and consult device documentation for any vendor-specific compatibility notes.
