Aktívny optický kábel BlueOptics QSFP56 200Gb/s, Infiniband HDR, 15 m (980-9I45M-00H015-BO)

Active Optical Cable BlueOptics QSFP56 200Gb/s, Infiniband HDR, 15 m is a factory-terminated duplex fiber assembly designed for high-performance network interconnects. The cable implements QSFP56 form-factor optics to deliver an aggregate 200 Gb/s throughput over a 15-metre link and is compatible with Infiniband HDR environments. It targets low-latency, high-bandwidth connections between switches, servers and storage in data centers and HPC clusters while maintaining signal integrity without separate transceivers.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers high aggregate bandwidth with low latency and reduced power consumption compared with equivalent copper solutions. Factory termination ensures consistent optical performance and simplified installation. The 15 m duplex link supports flexible rack-to-rack and row-to-row placement while maintaining signal quality for demanding network fabrics and storage interconnects.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting the QSFP56 connectors into compatible QSFP56 ports on network switches, servers or host adapters, ensuring proper alignment and latch engagement. Route the 15 m duplex cable through rack pathways or cable management channels to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain. The factory-terminated optical interfaces remove the need for separate transceivers; power and link negotiation are handled by the connected devices. Verify link status and data rate on the equipment management interface after connection.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, keep connectors free of dust and contaminants, and follow equipment vendor guidance for QSFP56 port compatibility and firmware support. Use in climate-controlled data center environments and secure cable routing to minimize physical stress and electromagnetic interference risks.
