Aktívny optický kábel CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q1M 1 m (SFP28-AOC-1M-MV-BO)

Active Optical Cable CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q1M 1 m is a factory-terminated SFP28 AOC engineered for 25Gbps short-reach connections in data center and server rack environments. The single-piece cable integrates optical transceivers into a duplex fiber assembly compatible with SFP28 ports, eliminating the need for separate pluggable transceivers. Its 1 metre length reduces cable slack and clutter while delivering low-latency, high-bandwidth links between switches, network interface cards and servers.

Advantages

This Active Optical Cable offers plug-and-play installation with pre-terminated SFP28 connectors that preserve port density and simplify upgrades. The integrated optical modules deliver consistent 25Gbps performance with low jitter and power draw compared with equivalent copper assemblies at similar distances. The short fixed length helps maintain tidy cable management in racks and reduces insertion errors associated with separate transceivers and patch cords.

Suitable for

• 25Gbps uplinks between switches and leaf-spine fabrics
• Direct connections from servers to top-of-rack switches
• High-density switch-to-switch links in data center rows
• Short-reach aggregation in hyperconverged and virtualization environments

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 form-factor, duplex optical assembly
• Data rate: 25 Gbps per duplex link
• Length: 1 metre fixed cable
• Cable type: Active optical cable with integrated transceiver electronics
• Compatibility: Designed for SFP28 ports and devices supporting SFP28 AOC interfaces
• Latency: optimized for low-latency short-reach links

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your two devices until it clicks, ensuring correct orientation and firm seating. The device operating systems should detect the AOC as an optical link without separate transceiver configuration. Use the fixed 1 m length to position devices within the recommended proximity and avoid excessive bending near the connector; follow device LEDs and link status indicators to confirm an active 25Gbps connection.

Recommendations

Use the cable for direct device-to-device 25Gbps links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and crushing forces, and route the cable to prevent strain on connectors. Verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and keep firmware and driver software up to date for optimal performance.
