Aktívny optický kábel CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q20M 20 m

The Active Optical Cable CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q20M 20 m is a factory-terminated SFP28-rated direct-attach fiber solution designed for short-range, high-speed interconnects. At 20 meters length, this AOC provides a single integrated optical link that plugs directly into compatible SFP28 ports, removing the need for separate transceivers and fiber patching. It is intended for data center and server-level connections where reliable 25/28 Gbps-class performance and simplified cabling are required.

Advantages

This Active Optical Cable delivers high-bandwidth performance for SFP28 interfaces while reducing the physical and management complexity of traditional transceiver-plus-patch-cord setups. The pre-terminated design simplifies installation and lowers the risk of connector contamination. As an optical solution, it reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and enables consistent signal integrity over the 20 m distance supported by the product.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch connections in data centers
• Top-of-rack (ToR) and end-of-row aggregation links
• High-speed storage networking and SAN interconnects
• Short-range inter-rack links requiring SFP28 ports

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP28 direct-attach active optical cable
• Data rate class: 25/28 Gbps-class links compatible with SFP28 ports
• Length: 20 meters
• Cable type: factory-terminated active optical cable (single integrated assembly)
• Connector: SFP28 form-factor plugs on both ends for direct insertion into SFP28 ports
• Application environment: designed for short-range data center and server interconnects

How to use

Install the BlueOptics BO272703Q20M by inserting each SFP28 plug into the corresponding SFP28 receptacle on the devices to be connected. Ensure that both devices support SFP28 optical modules and are powered down or configured according to the vendor’s hot-plug procedures if required. Verify link status through the network equipment management interface after insertion. Avoid bending the cable beyond recommended bend radii and keep connector ends free of contaminants during handling.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this AOC for links up to 20 m within rack rows or between adjacent racks, follow equipment vendor guidance for compatibility with SFP28 ports, and maintain proper cable routing to prevent excessive bending or tension.
