Anténna zásuvka Kathrein ESD 52 strieborná

The Kathrein ESD 52 Silver outlet box is a compact 2‑port antenna outlet designed for distribution in satellite and cable TV installations. It supports loop‑through functionality and DC passage over the TV/SAT line, covering a wide frequency range from 47 to 2400 MHz. The unit comes in a durable silver housing and is intended for reliable signal routing in residential and commercial setups.

Advantages

The outlet provides two output ports with loop‑thru capability, allowing a signal to be passed on while feeding a connected device. It supports DC passage on the TV/SAT line for powering remote devices such as LNBs. The device covers VHF/UHF and satellite bands up to 2400 MHz and has specified connection losses for VHF/UHF (14.5 dB) and SAT (15 dB), ensuring predictable performance in signal distribution. Its compact silver housing offers mechanical protection and simplifies installation in confined spaces.

How to use

Mount the Kathrein ESD 52 in an appropriate enclosure or on a mounting surface following local installation regulations. Connect the incoming antenna or satellite feed to the inlet, and attach receiver or distribution cables to the two output ports. If a remote LNB or other device requires power via the cable, ensure the distribution amplifier or power inserter supplies DC, as the outlet supports DC passage. Verify cable connectors are tight and test signal levels at receivers to confirm correct operation.

Recommendations

Use high‑quality coaxial cables and properly rated F‑connectors to minimize additional losses. For longer cable runs or installations with multiple splits, measure signal levels after installation and add amplification or attenuation as needed to maintain optimal reception.
