AOC kábel BlueOptics Telesis SFP28-AOC-15M 15m konektor samec/konektor samec aqua

The AOC Cable BlueOptics Telesis SFP28-AOC-15M 15m Male/Male Aqua is a 15-meter active optical cable with SFP28 connectors at both ends, designed for 25GBASE-SR4 multi‑mode links in data centres and network racks. The cable integrates a transmitter and receiver in each SFP28 end, supporting simultaneous send and receive optical transmission over multi‑mode fiber and complying with SFP28 AOC MSA specifications. The pre‑assembled aqua cable eliminates the need for patching between transceivers, reducing insertion loss and simplifying installation in switches, routers and storage systems that accept SFP28 AOC modules.

Advantages

This BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M offers 25 Gbps per channel performance over 15 meters with native SFP28 to SFP28 connectivity and built‑in digital diagnostics monitoring for real‑time parameters such as supply voltage, laser bias current, optical transmit/receive power and temperature. Manufactured according to MSA standards and using high‑quality optical and electronic components, the cable provides consistent interoperability, predictable lifetime characteristics and reduced maintenance compared with custom patch‑cord assemblies.

Suitable for

• Short‑reach 25G interconnects inside racks and between adjacent racks
• High‑density switch and server connections requiring SFP28 AOC compatibility
• Fibre Channel over Ethernet and other 25G high‑speed applications
• Environments where immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI) is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Length: 15 meters
• Data rate: up to 25 Gbps per lane (25GBASE‑SR4 compatible)
• Fiber type: multi‑mode fiber (pre‑assembled AOC)
• Form factor: active optical cable with integrated optical transceivers
• Monitoring: Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) compliant with MSA SFF‑8472
• MSA compliance: SFP28 AOC electrical, mechanical and functional compatibility
• Housing color: aqua (multi‑mode indication)

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 slot of the network devices until it latches securely. Ensure the host devices support SFP28 AOC modules and, if required, enable or verify DDM/DOM access to read diagnostic parameters. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; keep the minimum bend radius recommended by the vendor and secure the cable to prevent tugging. No additional patching, cleaning of ferrules or separate transceivers are needed because the optical interfaces are integrated within the cable ends.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and confirm that the target hardware supports 25GBASE‑SR4. Avoid tight bends and kinking; operate the cable within specified temperature and handling limits. Use the DDM/DOM function for remote monitoring and troubleshooting of optical power and temperature parameters when supported by the host system.
