BEG RC-plus next N 280 biely detektor pohybu s 280° dosahom a ochranou zón plazenia

The RC-plus next N 280 from BEG redefines area coverage with a genuine 280° detection field and a dedicated creep zone, ensuring that movement directly beneath the sensor is captured just as reliably as activity across the room. Unlike standard 180° detectors that leave blind spots, this model combines a wide tangential reach of 12 metres with a low-profile design that blends into ceilings and walls. The result is precise, energy-efficient switching for lighting, HVAC, or alarm systems in corridors, stairwells, warehouses, and offices.

Highlights

• 280° passive infrared detection with 12 m tangential range at 2.5 m mounting height
• Integrated creep zone protection eliminates the classic under-sensor blind spot
• Flexible wall, ceiling, or corner mounting with optional bracket
• IP54-rated housing for dusty and damp environments
• Teach-in lux function, test mode, and pulse function for tailored automation

In daily use

The RC-plus next N 280 is built for continuous operation in demanding settings. Its UV-stabilized polycarbonate housing resists yellowing and impact, while the wide detection angle reduces the number of units needed per area. The adjustable time delay (15 seconds to 16 minutes) and twilight threshold (2 to 2000 lux) let you fine-tune behaviour to match occupancy patterns and natural light. In test mode, a quick walk-through verifies coverage before final commissioning. The pulse function is particularly useful for stairwell time switches or building management systems that require short trigger signals.
