Why choose it

Passive twinax DACs offer lower latency and power consumption than active optical cables, making them a cost-effective choice for short-reach interconnects within racks and adjacent cabinets. The SFP+ form factor ensures compatibility with a wide range of switches, NICs, and storage controllers.

Ideal use cases

• Server-to-switch connections in data centers
• Storage area networks (SAN) requiring 10GbE links
• High-performance computing clusters using InfiniBand
• Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) deployments

Good to know

The cable is hot-swappable, allowing for quick replacement without powering down equipment. It operates within standard data center temperature ranges and is compliant with SFF-8431 and SFF-8432 specifications.
