BlueOptics 470-AAGE InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 3 m QSFP 4xSFP+ konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics 470-AAGE InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m QSFP 4xSFP+ Male/Male is a 3-metre passive fibre breakout cable engineered for high-density networking environments. One end terminates in a QSFP connector while the other end splits into four SFP+ connectors, enabling direct connectivity between QSFP ports and multiple SFP+ ports without additional transceivers. This cable is intended for short-reach, high-throughput links in data centres and server clusters where reliable, low-latency transmission is required.

Advantages

The cable offers straightforward connectivity between QSFP and SFP+ ports, reducing the need for intermediate modules and simplifying rack cabling. Its passive design ensures low power consumption and minimal signal processing, while the factory-terminated fibre assemblies deliver consistent optical performance and repeatable connections. The 3 m length balances reach and manageability in dense cabling layouts.

Suitable for

• Aggregating multiple SFP+ server or switch ports to a QSFP uplink in rack and row topologies
• High-speed InfiniBand or Ethernet links in data centres and HPC clusters
• Short-reach connections within equipment racks and between adjacent racks
• Environments requiring low-latency, high-bandwidth interconnects

Key specifications

• Cable type: InfiniBand fibre optic breakout cable
• Length: 3 metres
• Connectors: QSFP on one end, four SFP+ on the other end (male/male configuration)
• Application: Short-reach, high-speed data transmission for data centre interconnects
• Design: Passive fibre assembly with factory-terminated connectors

How to use

Insert the QSFP connector into the QSFP port of the source device and connect each SFP+ connector to the corresponding SFP+ ports on target devices. Ensure connectors are clean and aligned before insertion to avoid damage and signal loss. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and compressive forces; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for fibre cabling. For equipment that supports breakout functionality, verify port mapping and link negotiation in device firmware or management interfaces after physical connection.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to mating. Use proper cable management such as Velcro straps and routing panels to prevent strain and maintain airflow. Confirm compatibility of QSFP and SFP+ ports for passive breakout operation in your networking equipment documentation before deployment.
