BlueOptics 470-ACIK-BO InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 10 m SFP28 akvamarínová

The BlueOptics 470-ACIK-BO InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 10m SFP28 Aqua is a 10-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors at both ends, designed for high-speed InfiniBand and Ethernet environments. Built according to MSA standards, the cable supports 25G-class optical links over multimode fibre and integrates transmitter and receiver modules in the pre-assembled assembly for plug-and-play installation in compatible network hardware.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides a single, pre-terminated connection that removes the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing physical handling and potential signal loss. The SFP28-to-SFP28 format enables simultaneous send and receive optical transmission suitable for 25G applications. The cable is produced to MSA-aligned specifications and is tested for compatibility with major hardware platforms that accept SFP28 AOCs.

Suitable for

• Data center uplinks and server interconnects
• Switch-to-switch links within racks and across adjacent racks
• High-speed storage and clustering connections
• InfiniBand or 25G Ethernet network segments requiring 10 m reach

Key specifications

• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Media: multimode fibre (active optical cable)
• Nominal data rate class: 25G-class links (supports 25G applications)
• Cable colour: aqua

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 470-ACIK-BO by inserting the SFP28 connectors into compatible SFP28 ports on your switches, routers or servers. Ensure ports support AOC modules and that the devices accept third‑party SFP28 AOCs if required by firmware or vendor policy. No separate transceivers or fibre patching is required; once seated, the integrated transceiver modules handle optical transmit and receive functions and the link will negotiate according to the connected devices' configuration.

Recommendations

Verify that your hardware and firmware support SFP28 AOCs and, where applicable, the DDM/DOM diagnostic features to enable monitoring of optical parameters. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the device vendor for multimode AOCs, and avoid exposure of fibre ends to contaminants during handling to ensure reliable long-term performance.
