Aktívny optický kábel CBO AOC-SFP-10G-15M-BO 15 m SFP+ 10 Gbit/s

CBO AOC-SFP-10G-15M-BO is a 15-meter active optical cable with SFP+ connectors that supports 10 Gbit/s data transfer. Designed for short- to medium-reach high-speed interconnects, this Active Optical Cable provides a fiber-optic link between compatible SFP+ ports on switches, servers and storage systems. The cable offers lower electromagnetic interference and reduced signal attenuation compared with equivalent copper solutions, making it suitable for data centers and enterprise networks that require stable 10 Gb connections over a 15 m distance.

Advantages

The BlueOptics active optical cable delivers 10 Gbit/s throughput with SFP+ compatibility, enabling straightforward hot-pluggable connections without the need for separate transceivers. Being optical, it is immune to electromagnetic interference and reduces cross-talk in dense rack environments. The 15 m length allows flexible rack placement and cable routing while maintaining low latency and consistent signal integrity. The plug-and-play design minimizes installation complexity and helps maintain predictable network performance.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between network switches within a rack or across adjacent racks
• Server-to-switch and server-to-storage links in data centers
• Enterprise network backbone connections requiring 10 Gbit/s bandwidth
• Environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference where copper is unsuitable

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ (integrated active optical cable)
• Maximum data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Length: 15 m
• Cable type: Active optical fibre assembly
• Typical use: Short- to medium-reach interconnects for networking equipment

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on network switches, servers or storage devices. Ensure both ports are compatible with 10 Gbit/s SFP+ modules and that devices are powered according to manufacturer instructions. The cable is hot-pluggable, but verifying link status and device compatibility through the network equipment management interface is recommended after connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; follow rack and cable management practices to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid tight bends and kinks in the fiber assembly and maintain bend radii as specified by the equipment vendor. Use this 15 m active optical cable where optical immunity to interference and consistent 10 Gbit/s performance are required; verify compatibility with device firmware and SFP+ port specifications before deployment.
