Aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M 10G SFP+ 1 m

Active Optical Cable CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M 10G SFP+ 1 m is a 1-metre SFP+ direct-attach active optical cable designed for 10 Gigabit connections. The cable provides a compact plug-and-play SFP+ interface for short-reach links between switches, servers and network appliances. By using an optical active cable rather than separate transceivers and fibre patch cords, it reduces electromagnetic interference and simplifies installation in data center and enterprise rack environments.

Advantages

The Active Optical Cable offers low insertion complexity and eliminates the need for separate SFP+ transceivers and patch cords, reducing the number of components to manage. Its optical construction reduces EMI susceptibility and allows consistent 10G signal integrity over the 1 metre link. The integrated design provides reliable hot-pluggable operation and straightforward interoperability with SFP+ ports that accept standard AOC modules.

Suitable for

• Short-reach 10 Gigabit links between top-of-rack switches and aggregation switches
• Server-to-switch connections within racks or adjacent racks
• High-density network deployments requiring compact cabling and minimal component count
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is desired

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ plug-and-play active optical cable
• Data rate: 10 Gigabit per second
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: SFP+ compatible on both ends
• Transmission medium: active optical fiber
• RoHS-compliant materials and typical data centre environmental tolerances

How to use

Install the Active Optical Cable by inserting each SFP+ plug into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be connected. Ensure the devices are powered off or in hot-pluggable mode according to vendor guidance when inserting or removing the cable. After seating both ends, confirm link status through the device LEDs or management interface and verify 10G link negotiation and throughput. No additional transceivers or patch cords are required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable for connections within the specified 1 metre distance and avoid tight bends at the connector region. Verify compatibility with the target devices' SFP+ port vendor restrictions if present, and follow standard data centre handling procedures for ESD and fiber cleanliness.
