AOC optický SFP+ kábel CBO SFP-AOC-10G-30M 10G 30m aktívny optický kábel

AOC SFP-AOC-10G-30M is an active optical cable (AOC) that delivers 10 Gb/s SFP+ connectivity over a 30 metre duplex optical link. Designed as a direct attach cable replacement, this SFP+ AOC provides a compact, low-power connection between switches, servers and storage systems without separate optical transceivers. The cable supports short-range, rack-to-rack and intra-rack links in data centre environments where consistent 10G bandwidth and low latency are required.

Advantages

The AOC SFP-AOC-10G-30M offers plug-and-play SFP+ compatibility with reduced cabling bulk and improved thermal performance compared with separate transceiver plus fiber assemblies. As an active optical solution it provides reliable 10G transmission over 30 metres with low insertion loss, immunity to electromagnetic interference and lower power consumption than many copper alternatives. The integrated design simplifies installation and reduces points of failure in dense networking racks.

Suitable for

• Short-range connections between top-of-rack and aggregation switches
• Server-to-switch 10G links within and between racks
• Storage network links requiring low latency and consistent throughput
• Data centre and enterprise network upgrades to 10 Gigabit Ethernet

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ (10 Gb/s)
• Link type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Nominal length: 30 metres
• Data rate: 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Connector style: SFP+ plug on both ends
• Latency: low-latency optical transmission suitable for server and storage networks
• EMI immunity: optical medium provides electrical isolation
• Power: low power consumption compared with active copper DACs with comparable reach

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ slot on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both endpoints support SFP+ 10G links and that firmware or driver settings allow auto-negotiation for 10 Gigabit operation. Route the cable through the rack or cable management trays to avoid sharp bends; the cable should not be forced into radii smaller than the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius. Monitor link status via your switch or server management interface to confirm the connection is active at 10 Gb/s.

Recommendations

Use this 30 m SFP+ AOC for short-range, high-density data centre deployments where consistent 10G performance, low latency and reduced rack heat are priorities. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, and verify device compatibility with SFP+ active optical cables before deployment.
